TGIF : Free Lunch #79DaysInMBL
Friday, May 16, 2014 | 11:57 PM

My manager, KahFai decided to bring us lunch before the starting of shirt this afternoon.
It was planned by me and he just tagged along actually LOL
He still paid the meal for us although he said that he's cheapskate a day before.
Anyways, we went Restaurant Seoul Korea @ Taman Desa for some Korea BBQ & Traditional Korea Cuisine. Was supposed to dine in there on Monday but they were closed.

Indeed, it was a great one. I am so going to be back there again!! This would be another Korean Restaurant I would recommend other than MiNaRae.

I insist to blog about this although I've forgotten to take pictures before we start using our chopsticks due to our grumbling tummies. Therefore, I've decided to search the pictures online and blog these together with my experience there. (pictures belong to others bloggers)

Each table was well-quipped with a charcoal stove, complete with an adjustable smoke suction vent dangling from the ceiling. Plus, they use burning charcoal instead of direct gas fire which I think it boost the flavour of the meat. We had the choice of ordering Set Lunch since we were there during lunch. It is available daily including weekends as well.

Variety of unlimited refill side dishes (banchan) were served along with the orders - kimchi, seasoned meat, anchovies, seaweed, pancake, one of my favourite cucumber kimchi (Oi-sobagi) and etc.

Marinade grilled pork belly (Dae-ji Tang-nem Sam-groub-sal) ; RM25
It was not spicy although the appearance was in bright red when I had it.
It was grilled by the workers there and was cut into small pieces and to be wrapped and eaten with the side condiments.

Side condiments such as chili paste, sliced garlic & onions and fresh lettuce were served for the pork BBQ.
We had the BBQ chicken too and its great!

Kimchi Jigae : RM16
There's tofu, onions, spring onions, glass noodles, shiitake mushroom, pork and kimchi in the soup.
It was not as spicy as I expected. It was rather sour than spicy. You will definitely crave for a bowl of rice for it. No worries! Kimchi Jigae was served together with a bowl of rice.

Korean rice cake (Deok-Buk-Ki) : RM25
It was spicy and savoury pan-broiled Korean rice cake that served along with the stir-fry mix of vegetables, egg and meat. Would preferred it to have more rice cakes in it.

Complementary salad will be served..
.. and finally
you will be served with chilled ginger tea

FYI, for those who want to dine in there for dinner. Remember to be there earlier because I heard from others they said that you'll be lining up along the staircase while waiting for seats that are available.

Restaurant Seoul Korea is located at the corner on top of the mamak.

______________________________________________________________________________

Off to work early after lunch because manager have to collect stocks and blahblahblah..
So the few of us ended up going to Parkson and have a little shopping in Giant. We bought icecream, few snacks and juices to share with others. Nevertheless, we started working earlier than lepak-ing in the lab while waiting for clock-in. In conclusion, we had a mini party before briefing because everyone finished their jobs earlier than they supposed to be.
Gonna end this post with a picture of crazy Michelle Khong Chai Ai Ling!
