Wanted to try this out long ago. What attracted me was the portion of noodle they served to the customer.
Also, have been looking at pictures of my friend stacking how many bowls they've eaten. He had 23 bowls with his girlfriend. So, I've been wandering if 23 bowls are just a small matter. Therefore, I told myself to challenge the amount of the bowls that my friend had and today would be the day! :)
Wow! I've waited almost one and a half hour to get my seat with my friends. Please go into the shop and get your number first before you wait at outside. My friend went there earlier and she just stood there without knowing anything.
Also, check this out. They wrote this outside of the shop. Was amazed by this creativeness as they pointed the customer and staffs.
Kitchen was occupied with multiple of bowls. In 15 minutes, all the bowls needed to be renewed.
While we're waiting, we went to walk around Empire Damansara since it's my first time there. FINALLY! I'VE SEEN THE UMBRELLA!! It was AHMAYZING!!
We celebrated KarMan's advance birthday there since the guys brought the cake and present along. It's too hard to hid it from her and sing song in the shop. Therefore, it was under those beautiful umbrellas.
YES! FINALLY IN THE SHOP.
It was pretty crowded!~
Thai Pandan Dessert - Kuih Talam. RM1 in a pair
This came first before our noodles. I thought it was ice-cream at first because most of the kids there enjoyed it, they literally licked the spoon until it sparkled. The top layer is rich in coconut milk and lower sticky layer will be the pandan flavour. Tp be honest, this is the best Kuih Talam I ever had. It's still warm when I had it! This is a must try!
Finished a stack of this and re-order 2 more stacks. Can you imagine how many mini plates of this we had?
Dry/Soup Glass Noodles (Chicken/Beef) RM1.90 per bowl.
Finally, the long awaited noodles came. I enjoyed the soup one instead of the dry one. I managed to only capture a picture of the soup one since we waited long and don't bother to capture it when the noodles arrive. Overall, it was just so-so.
BREW TIME!
There's a swing there! Well, this is a reason why they went there. Yes, because of the swing.
Iced Doi Chaang. RM10.90
Red Velvet RM7.90
Then at night, MunEe and I went for a bonding session. Oh yeah! The drinks we had were not that fabulous after all, so I'm not going to post about it but..
This limited potong was good. Coconut milk with coconut juice.
I've tried the Watermelon Frizz before this and these popsicle sticks really urge me to try another flavour of the potong. Labels: Empire Damansara, food, noodles, Selangor, Thai |
